As the Clinical Affiliations Coordinator, you are responsible for the management of all clinical affiliations for the graduate program in the College of Nursing in collaboration with department faculty.
Compensation
ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high quality, affordable programs for our students. Clinical Affiliation Coordinators are independent contractors and are paid per placement, not to exceed a total gross of $10,000 annually.

Day to Day Responsibilities
In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:
- Serves as official contact for all clinical affiliations.
- Requests and secures all clinical sites for all semesters.
- Maintains positive relationships with clinical agency affiliate contacts.
- Maintains database of all agency affiliations with listing by unit and College of Nursing courses over the semester.
- Facilitates diverse and appropriate clinical placements based on course and program needs, in collaboration with faculty.
- Communicates information regarding clinical placements to chairpersons and designated faculty.
- Confirms clinical placements of students with clinical agencies and preceptors.
- Communicate any agency-specific requirements to faculty.
- Validates Preceptors compliance with College requirements.
- Reports all student and/or faculty incidents or concerns related to the clinical agency to the Chair of the College of Nursing.
- Validates student status and assures College of Nursing student clearance compliance for clinical placements.
- Communicates “cleared student” status to chairpersons and designated faculty.
- Manages and promptly reports any non-compliant clinical students and communicates with affected students, Chair of the College of Nursing, and the assigned faculty member as indicated.
- Serves as the liaison for agency affiliations for establishing new contracts, review of current contracts and/or renewals for clinical agency assignments referring to the Chair of the College of Nursing as necessary.
- Reviews all student and faculty background checks and drug testing returned with adverse findings. Collaborates with agency for clearance.
- Communicates with the Chair of the College of Nursing as needed.
- Manages annual agency evaluations including preparation of an annual report, summarizing the findings, and making recommendations to chairpersons.
- Seeks annual feedback from adjunct clinical faculty on their experience as clinical instructors.
- Makes recommendations to chairpersons.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited university.
- 1-3 years’ experience in higher education. <
