Where You Will Work: 

The Clinical Supervisor will be a valued teammate of a 20-bed medical-surgical progressive unit, also known as Post Surgical 3. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses and conditions. Our unit includes 3 progressive beds designed for postoperative or higher-acuity surgical patients. We primarily care for hepatobiliary surgical patients as well as women’s health cases. 

In this role, the RN will work closely with a dedicated nursing care team comprised of healthcare technicians and RN/LPN staff to provide patient-centered care. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans, facilitate clear communication, and promote optimal recovery and patient well-being.

Expectations We’re Looking For:  

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing  

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices  

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association  

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure in an appropriate state. Minium two years nursing experience preferred. Previous management experience preferred. BSN is required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.  

• Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility of professional certification exam. 

• Additional education, training, certifications or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader
