Shape the Future of Infection Prevention

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an accomplished Infectious Diseases physician to join our Department of Medical Affairs as Associate Medical Director, Hospital Epidemiology. This physician leader will partner with the Director of Hospital Epidemiology to advance infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, patient safety, and quality initiatives across one of the nation's leading academic medical centers.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician with expertise in hospital epidemiology, infection prevention, quality improvement, and academic medicine who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through innovation, collaboration, education, and research.

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases
  • Eligibility for unrestricted California medical licensure
  • Eligibility for Cedars-Sinai Medical Staff membership
  • Experience or formal training in clinical epidemiology and healthcare outcomes analysis
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Previous experience in hospital epidemiology, infection prevention, or antimicrobial stewardship leadership
  • Published record in peer-reviewed medical literature
  • Experience serving as a principal or co-investigator in clinical or epidemiologic research
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, patient care, and academic leadership

Our Compensation Philosophy:

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees.Ā  The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.Ā This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $249,500 - $458,000 Total Cash Compensation
