Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing Team Leader – Production (AVI) leads front-line manufacturing operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production performance. This role is responsible for developing and engaging employees, executing daily production plans, and driving continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. The Team Leader operates with autonomy within established GE Vernova policies, standards, and lean manufacturing principles.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
• Supervise, coach, and develop production employees, including staffing, performance management, and engagement
• Plan and coordinate production cell operations to ensure consistent output and schedule adherence
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving tools
• Identify and eliminate waste while improving productivity, quality, and process flow
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and support teams
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all EHS requirements
• Foster a One Team environment that encourages communication, innovation, and accountability
• Adapt to changing business needs while maintaining operational excellence

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience

Preferred:

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and lead change
• Strong communication, coaching, and team engagement skills
• Growth mindset with a continuous improvement focus

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
