Job DetailsJob Location: HQ - Murray, UT 84107Position Type: Full TimePurpose:

The Legal & Policy Administrator (the “Manager”) facilitates the effective and efficient operation of the Legal Department by providing high-level management and reporting support to the Corporate Counsel (the “Executive”) and in-house corporate attorneys as assigned. The Manager will report to the Executive and collaborate regularly with other FinWise managers and employees.

Tasks:

Manage and drive the Monthly Policy Review/Policy Packet submission to the Board of Directors for all FinWIse Bank & Holding Company Policies and Strategic Partner Credit Policies.
Manage the Microsoft Planner (Kanban) Policy Boards on a daily basis.
Coordinate the compilation and completion of the Master Insurance and Cyber Applications. With the Executive or others, drive the process to the successful completion of all insurance renewals to meet the deadlines. (April – September annually)
Manage the 2-step Policy Reviews, those requiring ITSC or TPOC approval prior to the Board of Directors meeting.
Maintain and Update the Owlet Policy Page.
Function as the BankPolicies.com relationship manager.
Provide Policies to FinWise Staff as requested.
Provide Bank Policies to bank examiners and auditors as requested.
Act as project manager for Legal Department mini projects.
Assist with Legal Department vendor management.
Assist with litigation and discovery as requested.
Perform related administrative and other duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate professionally and comfortably with all levels of management, particularly senior management, as well as board members, external partners, and other stakeholders.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Extensive knowledge of office administration and recordkeeping systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
Conversation-level knowledge of compliance, risk management, legal, and financial terms.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently.
QualificationsRequired Education / Experience / License:

Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least five years of management experience required.

Preferred Education / Experience / License:

Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
8+ years’ management experience in legal, compliance or risk management.

Minimum Essential Requirements:  

Sit or stand at a computer for extended periods of time and look at a computer screen for several hours a day.
Communicate with others in person, on the phone, virtual meeting, and email.
Maintain confidentiality.
Lift 20 lbs.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Work overtime as assigned.
Travel overnight as required.
Work cooperatively with others.
Driving during workday.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
