- Primary Working Hours:
- Monday: 12:00 am – 8:00 am
- Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Flexibility allowed with approval)
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
- Location: Oklahoma City
- Supervisory: Not Applicable
- Training: Up to 6 weeks of in office training.
- Travel: Up to 10% of time. (As business needs dictate)

Position Essential Functions
- User Support and Training
- Work with users to identify their communications or computer support needs.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, in-house technical staff, or others to plan, design, and implement new applications, modifications, or improvements.
- Provide training and support to users to help them effectively operate and apply available systems.
- System Planning and Maintenance
- Plan, design, and coordinate computer networks or operating systems to support agency operations, including telephone and computer systems.
- Establish and maintain computer services, networks, and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and evaluate system performance.
- Address malfunctions, operational issues, and identify and resolve underlying causes.
- System Installation and Testing
- Install, test, and modify personal computers, software, operating systems, and other communication or automation devices.
- Coordinate and perform system tests, making adjustments, calibrations, and modifications to equipment or components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Implement software changes and improve overall system performance.
- Data Validation and Monitoring
- Review computer-generated data to verify it matches user requests and validate the data.
- Ensure production requirements are met and monitor the production process.
- Identify issues and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Job Scheduling and Issue Resolution
- Schedule the correct mix of jobs and make decisions on releasing jobs.
- Manage databases (opening and closing) and other necessary actions.
- Resolve unexpected issues and prepare finished work for distribution or verification.

Valued Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Knowledge of –
- Telecommunications and computer systems; of various types of equipment used in information systems networks, such as personal computers, radios, telephones, and other electronic equipment; of basic electronic circuitry; of systems analysis; and of communications theories and terminology.
Skill and Competencies –
- Computer Skills – Employee must be capable of proficiently using the OESC’s standard software (Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Teams), and the Internet, as well as proficiency to learn other software as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills expressing ideas clearly and concisely.
