About the role

The Position

We are hiring an Associate Software Delivery Lead to support the Release Train Engineers that we have in our  Software Engineering team based in Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona, Spain).

Your main tasks and responsabilities:

  • You will support the work of a Release Train engineer to optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) and Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets - with multi-location distributed teams (Among Switzerland, India & Spain)

  • You will stablish and communicate the Iteration and PI calendars, facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness, PI planning events, demos and periodic synchronization events and summarize and publish Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives, and program PI objectives into Solution PI Objectives.

  • You will facilitate feature and capacity estimation by teams and help manage risks and dependencies encouraging collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering 

  • You will improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline 

  • You will ensure adherence to Guardrails and drive relentless improvement, assess the agility level of the ART, and help them improve

Who you are

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field) is required.

  • You have at least 1 year of real-world experience in creating and maintaining software products or organizing software projects being part of multi-team development projects.

  • You have experience using SAFe framework, knowledge of techniques like BDD and/or TDD and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Git, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Terraform, Ansible). Also, valuable having an understanding of regulated environments, ideally the Healthcare industry.

  • You are acquainted with Agile development practices, especially Scrum and experience in the Clinical Laboratory and Healthcare domain.

  • You are a self-organized and proactive team player, who listens to others while not being afraid of asserting yourself; comfortable with uncertainty and able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
