Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU (Nights)

The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties by hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administering respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active participant in the continuous quality improvement process. Serves as a resource to other employees. Education Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework Experience One year of related experience. Requires working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Licenses & Certifications *Registered Respiratory Therapist *Respiratory Care Professional *Healthcare Provider (CPR) *ACLS Certification *NRP Certification *Pediatric Advanced Life Support Qualifications *Must attend S.T.A.B.L.E. baby course within 18 months of employment. *Must become certified in NRP, PALS and ACLS within 10 months of employment. *Has at least 1 year Level III NICU experience either with Tanner or at another Level III NICU facility.
