Job Description Summary:

We are in search of an exceptional leader to lead our Fraud Risk Detection Machine Learning team.  As Head of Fraud Risk ML, you will manage the entire portfolio of Fraud Risk solutions, and be entrusted with leading our globally distributed top-tier ML scientists to bring cutting-edge AI/ML risk solutions to fruition.

• Effectively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, product, and engineering, to uncover and leverage business opportunities through machine learning.
• Possess strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to technical experts and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
• Strong strategic acumen and have a proven track record of delivering substantial business results. 
• Possess deep ML expertise to lead design and reviews of ML model development.  Ability to continuously push the envelope for ML advancement.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team of seasoned machine learning scientists, driving them towards achieving project objectives and fostering innovation.
• Showcase a commitment to nurturing the growth and development of team members, while actively promoting a culture of continual learning throughout the organization.

What you’d need to bring

• Strong background in Machine Learning with hands-on experience in building and implementing large-scale predictive models.  Familiar with ML modeling techniques (e.g., deep learning, gradient boosting, graph, NLP/LLM, regression, clustering etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence partners and customers with your insights and expertise.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
• 15+ years of related industry experience 
• 8+ years of people management experience. Experience in leading, managing and building globally distributed high performing ML teams
