Position Summary

Deloitte seeks a strategic, creative marketing leader to use business and market insights. This person will develop strategic marketing plans. The leader will plan, implement, oversee, and measure marketing campaigns for the Government sector. These campaigns should drive awareness, generate leads, and measure ROI.

The marketing leader will work closely with the Government Sales and Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams. Together, they will define target audiences and understand positioning. They will also build tactics to position Deloitte as a technology leader among current and prospective government clients.

The Portfolio Marketing Lead for Government & Public Services (GPS) will play a key role in finding new trends in government marketing. This person will create effective campaigns, drive innovation, and ensure a great customer experience.

Work You'll Do

  • Develop strategic marketing plans, focusing on positioning Deloitte to win government contracts. Plans may include promoting Deloitte’s thought leadership through white papers, events, and omnichannel advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee content strategies that support each business’s strategic marketing plan, as well as research- and data-driven content development.
  • Lead the development of new paid and organic campaigns that match strategic plans. Work with internal partners to launch, measure, and improve.
  • Work across a matrixed organization. Serve as a marketing advisor for internal stakeholders. Help prioritize and deliver on the most strategic business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 8+ years of related experience in marketing, focusing on business marketing strategy planning and communications. This includes understanding how marketing and communications strategies and tactics work together to provide measurable results.
  • Experience working within the government professional services market
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and maintaining a positive working environment
  • Experience taking initiative and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated managing multiple projects while meeting client expectations and deadlines
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at anytime in the future

  • Creative mindset with passion and drive to encourage innovation in marketing and communications. Able to manage creative teams and provide strategic direction to improve brand position in the market.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Polished executive presence and professional client service manner
  • Demonstrated ability to be collaborative and interact with all levels of management
  • Flexibility, adaptability and level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities
  • Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
