Location: Full-time, 100% remote position in the United States (from home or co-working space) with occasional travel once every 2-3 months

About the Position

Localyst is seeking a hands-on Bot Builder Associate to create and maintain message flows using no-code platforms like Chatfuel and TextIt. You don’t need to code, but you should be fluent in no-code tools, have a sharp eye for logic bugs, and be confident in communicating what’s simple, what’s complex, and when something just won’t work.

You’ll get full support from the data team, including standardized attributes and guidelines. We’re seeking someone who can grow into the role, think critically, and collaborate closely with data and community engagement teams as the system evolves.

Here’s what you could expect to do as Bot Builder Associate (key responsibilities):

• Build and maintain message flows in no-code platforms (e.g., Chatfuel, TextIt, Twilio, Mailchimp) using provided guidelines and attributes

• QA all builds for edge cases, missing logic, or technical bugs before launch

• Troubleshoot flow issues independently and escalate to platform support when needed

• Communicate blockers, trade-offs, and the level of effort clearly to collaborators (content team, data team, and leadership)

• Collaborate with analysts to ensure flows are measurable and aligned with campaign goals

• Maintain documentation of builds and platform quirks for team reference
