We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention team! This position is a full-time role within Achieva's Early Intervention department, providing support to eligible infants, toddlers, and their families throughout Washington County. Experience in Early Intervention is helpful.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will play a critical role in supporting infants, toddlers, and their families by conducting developmental assessments, developing individual program plans, and providing occupational therapy services. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to assess developmental delays and implement interventions that support the child’s growth and family outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in assessing the development of children with developmental delays across all areas of development.
  • Write assessments, identify children’s strengths and needs, and make recommendations for Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) outcomes and interventions.
  • Establish rapport with the child and family to facilitate positive relationships.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with the Associate Director of Early Intervention and coordinate with other staff as needed.
  • Provide occupational therapy services within the context of established practices.

Qualifications

  • PA License in Occupational Therapy (required).
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and personal vehicle (required).
  • Ability to travel around Allegheny and Washington counties.
  • Experience in Early Intervention is helpful but not required.
