Afterschool Violin Instructor

Job DetailsJob Location: Lower School - San Jose, CA 95130Position Type: StaffSalary Range: $75.00 - $75.00 HourlyThe Harker After School Instrumental Music Program is currently seeking an experienced violin teacher for both private and group lessons.Qualifications
Immediate need for a teacher on Thursdays from 3:30 to 6:45 pm
Experience working with elementary-level students ages 5-12 
Lessons are after-school, Monday-Friday, 3:30-6:45 pm, depending on enrollment, but are usually 2-3 days a week
Master's degree in performance and/or education preferred, but not required
Private one-on-one teaching experience with general pedagogy, use of method books, along with supplementary materials
Conducting and leading groups and ensembles on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays is helpful but not required.
Ability to teach cello is helpful, but not required
