Position Specific Description
The Material Project Support Specialist is responsible for the efficient management of materials required for company projects. This involves coordinating with the central warehouse, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. Primary Responsibilities: Preferred Qualifications:
Job Overview
This job coordinates job site set-up, fabrication of materials, and job site clean-up. Employees in this position create workflow efficiencies for large projects by making prudent financial decisions based on business needs, through procurement of non-standard materials.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and performs job site set-up, to include ancillary support materials and services
- Coordinates job site clean up, including proper accounting of used and unused materials
- Coordinates fabrication of material per engineering or contractor specifications
- Provides product knowledge to determine the best material to use as a substitute, when original materials are not available
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 1+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years
- DOT Hazmat Trng Accordnce 49 CFR 172.704
- Commercial Driver's License
