Key Details:
Hybrid Program: This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Relocation Support: Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer.
Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.
Technical Requirements: Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.

The intern will split time between IT Strategic Sourcing and Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability teams.
Department Summary
Carnival Corporation’s Global Sourcing team works across the company’s portfolio of Brands to source necessary goods and services for the ships and company operations.
The IT Strategic Sourcing team sits within Global Sourcing and drives strategic efforts for IT spend categories with local and regional brand impacts. The team works to secure optimal sourcing opportunities that deliver value, drive savings, and increase efficiencies and level of service.
The Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability team also sits within Global Sourcing and drives sustainable and responsible sourcing initiatives. Examples include efforts to eliminate single-use plastic from the ships and programs aimed at ensuring strong animal welfare practices in food procurement and shore excursions.
Internship Project Summary
Project Title: Strategic Sourcing Analytics Intern – IT and Responsible Sourcing
Objective: The intern with split their time evenly between the two teams, gaining experience across both functions within Global Sourcing. The intern will conduct comprehensive data analysis and visualization, develop integrated systems to track key performance indicators across sourcing categories, and work with core team members as well as brand stakeholders to gain broad exposure across the corporation.

Synthesize cross-brand data to reveal trends in both spend efficiency and sustainability performance
Conduct spend analysis across sourcing categories and develop integrated contract databases
