$87,708.00 - $122,792.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership
The Mary Parkes Asthma & Pulmonary Center is seeking a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This primarily day-shift role offers an exciting opportunity to support a fast-paced, pulmonary outpatient specialty practice providing care to adults aged 18 and older, including the geriatric population. The multidisciplinary team includes attending, pulmonary fellowship, advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses, respiratory therapist, ambulatory technicians and pharmacists together provide a comprehensive specialty approach to patient care. The practice manages acute and chronic pulmonary disease, all aspects of pulmonary function testing, a highly specialized biologic therapy program and ongoing pulmonary triage. Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager include supporting current nursing leadership in implementing and maintaining unit improvement initiatives, collaborating with RN staff involved in Triage, Specialty Medications, Safety Committee, Performance Improvement, and Unit Education efforts, and overseeing activities related to the biologic program. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and communication skills, show proficiency in analysis and presentation of data, identification of problems, and development of solutions; be proactive and independent in decision-making and demonstrate excellent organizational abilities.
A minimum of two years of experience in acute medical or community health nursing is required.
