Recognized as a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work, we offer a collaborative and caring community where you feel like you belong and are empowered to grow, learn and thrive through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training and more.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Join us to drive positive, lasting change that moves missions and the government forward!</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> </div></div><p>As a Data Product &amp; Quality Specialist at AFS, you will act as the primary quality and testing authority for data products, bridging the gap between the engineering team and data consumers.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines, APIs, and data products to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to requirements.</li> <li>Perform functional testing from a consumer's perspective, validating that data is discoverable in the ACDC catalog, accessible via the APIs, and matches the documented metadata.</li> <li>Serve as a member of the "Enabling Team," acting as a data mesh advocate who supports the adoption of the DME by helping consumers find, understand, and use data products.</li> <li>Create and maintain user-facing documentation, tutorials, and "getting started" guides for data consumers.</li> <li>Gather feedback from early adopters and mission partners to create a feedback loop that drives continuous improvement for the data products and the platform itself.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>User-level experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman), data catalog interfaces (ACDC), and data validation techniques.</li> <li>Experience with Python scripting</li> <li>Familiarity with SQL</li> <li>Experience in data quality assurance, software testing, and writing technical documentation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus if you have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills to effectively translate consumer needs into technical feedback for the development team.</li> <li>A strong analytical mindset with
