Under the direction of the Staff Analyst – Maintenance & Tool Room, KPS, the function this role is to provide the technical and analytical assistance in the development and management of predictive and preventative maintenance. This position will also be responsible to manage and maintain system master data in the CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System). This position is on 1st shift salaried for approx. 45 hours during the week and may require time before/after shift and weekend work to support as needed. It may also require some travel between three local Rehlko Plants (Mosel, Kohler, and Saukville) as needed.


Specific responsibilities:

• Provide Operations Engineering and Process Engineers with Maintenance support.

• Assist in the establishment of new preventive maintenance procedures for specific equipment and audit the effectiveness of existing preventative maintenance procedures.

• Assist in the establishment of recommended spare parts and specific quantities for items to be stocked in Maintenance Stores from the vendors recommendations or equipment literature.

• Develop lubrication specifications and methods for all plant equipment and develop and maintain lubrication routes

a. Chart all new equipment for number of lubrication points, types of lubricants to be used, method of application and frequency of application.

b. Manage the Generator oil sampling program and advise of action to be taken as a result of the analyses.

• Manage and maintain our vibration program including establishing machines and program database. Provide technical support to skilled trades team and communicate through vibration analysis system.

• Train maintenance personnel on the use of predictive technologies when personnel changes require a new person to be trained. Perform follow-up training for individuals who have attended an outside training course.

• Program manager for equipment master data within the CMMS system. Create, maintain, & update system master data to insure a high level oi accuracy & consistency throughout the maintenance system.

• Create and validate equipment records, maintenance plans, equipment BOM's, document links, functional location structure and employee work centers within the CMMS system.

• Manage master data for LOTO, Confined Space and Environmental procedures for Rehlko, WI facilities to ensure the highest level of health, safety and environment practices are followed in all activities completed by maintenance personnel.

• Analyze data and create reports to drive action and decision making within the Maintenance & Campus Services group.

• Provide general support to the Rehlko Maintenance organization.

• Provide other technical assistance as required to assist maintenance efforts and all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.


Skills/Requirements
• Required Experience:
o 4-year degree in technical field such as Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology. Equivalent practical training in primary field relating to expertise would be considered.
o Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels.
o Basic computer skills with the ability to understand and learn programs quickly is required.
o Must be a self-motivated, detail – oriented individual that operates in a consistent manner.
• Desired Experience:
o 5+ years of maintenance experience.
o 3-5 years of experience with a CMMS system
o AutoCad
o Technical experience, including but not limited to: fabrication, welding, facilities maintenance, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and ability to read blueprints.
