We are looking for advanced analytical, action-oriented, and collaborative individuals that can translate business problems into data driven solutions and actionable insights to influence operational results. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being eager to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story.
You will join the Global Analytics Tech team focused on driving the design, creation and operation of the business infrastructure and key performance indicators that support our operations and commercial teams. Our business strategy is primarily driven by the synergies of the tech and business world.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a team of data scientists for the Global Analytics Tech team - conduct performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and drive professional development through regular training, and one-on-one coaching
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced data pipelines and warehouses using state-of-the-art technologies like BigQuery, AWS, and Hadoop. Implement robust ETL processes and ensure optimal data flow and storage
- Utilize your expertise in Google SQL, Python to manage, clean, and transform large datasets from diverse sources. Ensure data is accurate, accessible, and primed for analysis
- Leverage tools such as DataStudio and Looker to create impactful visualizations. These tools will help to drive decision-making and identify opportunities for profitable growth within our global operations
- Work closely with departments such as Supplier Operations, Warehousing, and Engineering to develop data solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Share insights, evaluate projects, and contribute to the scaling of effective practices across the supply chain
- Support the ongoing optimization of our data infrastructure, troubleshoot data-related issues, and continuously improve our databases and data warehouses
- Document all engineering processes and ensure compliance with data governance and best practices. Maintain detailed records that can be referenced to enhance future projects
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or other related quantitative STEM disciplines with a strong academic record
- Have 5+ years of progressive experience in an analytics, data science or engineering role performing quantitative analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including knowledge of aggregate functions, joins, etc. Familiarity with BigQuery, Vertica, and other database technologies. Hands-on experience with Python. Understanding of Git for version control
- Experience with data engineering tools such as DBT/Dataforms, Airflow, and platforms like GCP.Strong experience in backend data warehousing, data processing, and big data technologies.
- Practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and conducting quantitative analyses on large datasets.Experience with data modeling and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, and DataStudio
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a keen interest in data engineering and analytics. Experience in quantitative roles within business intelligence, data science, or engineering is highly desirable
- Ability to conduct performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and drive professional development through regular training, one-on-one coaching, and opportunities for skill advancement, ensuring a high-performing and engaged team

- Experience in e-commerce or supply chain environments is a plus

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
