To be able to reach this ambitious goal we are looking for talented individuals who, in addition to their passion for their own role, also have strong team spirit and want to contribute to supporting a meaningful corporate mission. </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Do you want to shape the future?</strong></p><p>The German Solar Development team within Business Unit Solar &amp; Batteries is now looking for a dedicated <strong>Project Coordinator</strong> to help building up our rapidly growing German PV business.</p><p><br/> <strong>Our Organization</strong></p><p>Business Unit Solar and Batteries is part of Vattenfall’s Business Area Wind which is responsible for Vattenfall’s Renewable activities within Wind, Solar PV and Battery Storage. BU Solar &amp; Batteries is responsible for all large scale solar and battery development and has its purpose to enable fossil free living within one generation through profitable solar and battery assets. To fulfill this purpose the BU is active along the whole value chain from early stage development to operations.</p><p>The BU main focus for a strong solar portfolio growth is in Germany and the Netherlands. In Germany we have a PV pipeline over 3 GW, which continues to grow. Therefore the need for extra support is also growing.</p><p>The Solar Development team is responsible for the successful development of solar projects, from early stage till hand over to the Construction team. The development work entitles securing land leases, permits, revenues and grid connection while having good support from all relevant stakeholders and maintaining a healthy business case.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities as Project Coordinator</strong></p><p>We offer an exciting and varied position within Vattenfall’s Solar &amp; Battery business - a rapidly growing field offering excellent career opportunities.</p><p>The position in general: Coordinate project management activities, work packages, resources, equipment and information (as directed by project managers).<br/>  </p><p>Specific responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to external stakeholders on a regularly basis </li><li>Support project managers from a document management  perspective, such as steering signature processes, archiving had copy documents, maintaining Datarooms for divestment and handover     </li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports in IT Systems (Microsoft Sharepoint, Jupiter, Commitment Register, ARM System etc.)</li><li>Support project managers with project &amp; site-specific analysis, negotiations with landowners, municipalities, grid operators and preparations of internal toll-gate decision materials</li><li>Business travels and client meetings on-site</li></ul><p><br/> <strong>Location  </strong><br/> Berlin or Hamburg</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Your qualifications as Project Coordinator</strong></p><p>As a successful candidate you have a high level of energy and commitment to support Solar Development and a drive to help delivering on strong growing team targets.</p><p>Additionally, you convince with the following skills and competencies:</p><ul><li>5 years of operational experience in the field of project management or marketing</li><li>experience with renewable development, preferably Large Scale Solar</li><li>experience with Helioscope</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and excellent team player</li><li>Creative, problem solving and result-oriented mindset</li><li>Well-developed communication skills, including report writing and preparing presentation material</li><li>fluent in German and English </li><li>Academic degree - in Economics, Law, Business Administration, Engineering or similar</li><li>Driver's licence</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Our offer </strong><br/> Good remuneration, a challenging and international work environment, and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field.
