Loan Operations Specialist - Collateral

First State Community Bank is seeking a quick learning, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic for a Loan Operations Specialist position. This position is responsible for filing and releasing liens on loan collateral and processing paid loan documents in a timely manner.

 

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

Professionalism

• Provide operational support to various branches regarding collateral management and loan documentation.

Accountability

• Ensure the bank's lien position on collateral is secured and maintained by filing appropriate documents.
• Process paid loan documents and mail to customers in a timely manner.

Initiative

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Take ownership of tasks and projects.

Adaptability

• Handle other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate effectively on a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail & strong organizational skills are a must
• Ability to learn quickly
