Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure): Clinical Assistant Professor

Description

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, 50% FTE, academic professional track (non-tenure track)position with an 11-month appointment beginning spring semester 2025.  Applicants will be considered for the faculty title Clinical Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities for this position will primarily include clinical and didactic teaching at both the predoctoral and graduate levels, in addition to service at the dental school and children’s hospitals.  Information about the Department of Pediatric Dentistry is available at:  https://dentistry.tamu.edu/departments/pediatric-dentistry

Interested indivduals should have a strong commitment to teachng, clinical research and service.  Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications of the selected applicant.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the following:

• Hold a DDS or DMD degree
• Completed an ADA accredited postgraduate training program in pediatric dentistry
• Clinical and didactic teachng experience
• Eligible for licensure in Texas.

All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
