UCLA Health is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Support Services Operations Manager to lead and oversee operations related to licensed expirable management and the provider life cycle unit. This pivotal role ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and supports effective onboarding and offboarding processes for UCLA Health providers. This role ensures regulatory compliance, supports provider integration, and leads operational improvements across departments.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely renewal and compliance of clinic licenses (e.g., CLIA, CDPH, CMS)
  • Manage provider onboarding/offboarding processes in coordination with HR, Credentialing, and Enrollment
  • Oversee and maintain data accuracy in systems like CareConnect, Salesforce, and MD Staffing
  • Lead audits, monitor expirable metrics, and coordinate regulatory visits
  • Drive process improvements, workflow development, and compliance reporting
  • Supervise and support centralized teams for licensing and life cycle management
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve licensing, billing, and operational issues

Salary Range: $83,800 - $179,400/Annually

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five years of managing a medical practice is required
  • Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment regulations
  • Knowledge of Clinical and Billing Operations
  • Knowledge of Practice Management
  • Experience working with Providers (Physician and Allied)
  • Knowledge of CMS and CDPH Guidelines
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and tact relative to administrative, medical, and personnel issues.
  • Ability to use a PC and an assortment of software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as an HP Laser Jet printer and copier
