Technology is our fastest-growing sector, and the obsession of our clients big and small. We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, the Account Executive will support a Fortune 200 technology company and demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast, deadline-based environment, and have a passion for technology. They should demonstrate a spirit of innovation, intellectual curiosity and an action-oriented approach in their work. The Account Executive will have the exciting opportunity to execute always-on content creation, media storytelling, integrated programs and more across a variety of topics. They will be responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on projects under a supervisor's direction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a proactive approach in supporting the account team in execution of daily activities.
- Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors.
- Provide client service and cross-team support by attending meetings and taking detailed notes, handling scheduling and logistics, providing billing support, preparing client status and activity reports, etc.
- Research, outline, write, edit and proofread press materials, specifically press releases, media pitches, media interview briefings, fact sheets, client correspondence notes and other materials.
- Conduct research and analysis, such as media/competitor coverage and online conversation (volume and tone), identification and categorization of various stakeholders, organizations and individuals to be engaged by clients, etc.
- Provide client service administration including preparing client status and activity reports, attending client meetings (developing agendas and recaps), compiling client and competitor coverage reports, etc.
- Monitor and engage with media, including real-time news and coverage tracking to identify opportunities for storytelling.
- Participate in team-wide and client-facing brainstorms.
- Assist with new business, including compiling company research, developing competitive landscape analyses, and contributing to strategy development.

Qualifications:
- This is an entry-level position. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in and understanding of strategic communications and basic principles of integrated communications marketing, public relations and writing.
- An Account Executive will possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.
- Candidate should be based in Dallas or willing to relocate ahead of start date.
- Previous experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing.
- A bachelor’s degreefrom an accredited college or university in a related field such as public relations, journalism, communications or business.
- Experience and/or strong interest in technology communications.
- Creative thinker, problem solver, and action-oriented individual committed to client excellence.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and dedication to consistently provide high-quality work to their team and clients.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with large teams.
- Ability to use social media platforms for storymining and industry trendspotting.
- Proficient organizational, scheduling, and time/project management skills; able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously and adapt to new assignments, deadlines and priorities.
- Familiarity with AP style and Microsoft Office.
