As a result, wild independents can thrive.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Team :</strong> </p><p>As a member of the data science team, the first and foremost driver is contributing to Ankorstore success metrics.</p><p>We need you to improve and scale our data-driven features as part of the core product value proposition for our Brands and Retailers. </p><p>By joining the data science and machine learning team of 3 people, you will be in charge of developing models, leveraging AI and genAI current and future capabilities, to make Ankorstore a successful company.</p><p></p><p><strong>Main responsibilities : </strong></p><p>This role is designed for a driven data scientist who is not only technically proficient but also adept at fostering collaboration across teams to integrate data-driven solutions that support and amplify our business objectives.</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Design and/or improve our search, ranking, recommendations, and browsing algorithms, improve personalization; develop core data science enablers that will be leveraged down the line into business use cases.</p></li><li><p>Put them in production, measure their performance, and iterate.</p></li><li><p>With the help of our ML Ops and data Engineering team: design, build and scale real-time and batch processing pipelines to compute features, perform inference, and make decisions.</p></li><li><p>Contribute in the Data Science roadmap and delivery</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and the Data Science Manager to align data science projects with organizational goals and product roadmaps.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u>Tech Stack:</u> GCP, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Clickhouse, Aiven, openAPI, ...</p><p></p><p>Some of the enablement that have been delivered since 2023: </p><ul><li><p>Search experience improvement with better accuracy on search terms detection and matching against search results</p></li><li><p>Reranked products in search and catalog browsing experiences</p></li><li><p>Recommended carousels throughout the digital marketplace (homepage, cart, product detail pages, …)</p></li><li><p>Prediction of product metadata in order to offer a top notch Brands’ experience, relying on commodity and seamlessly integration, … </p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements : </strong></p><ul><li><p>B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent field.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of industry experience on machine-learning teams.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Experience building and deploying various machine learning models.</p></li><li><p>Experience in one or more of the following areas: NLP, ranking, LLM, search engine, recommender system, and ML</p></li><li><p>Experience with modern back-end machine learning tech stacks.</p></li><li><p>An excitement and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and the ability to work with others in a closely collaborative team environment.</p></li><li><p>Designing software for low latency and high throughput environments.</p></li><li><p>Experience in training, launching, and iterating on machine-learning models</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL and python.</p></li><li><p>Strong fundamental programming skills:</p><ul><li><p>Object-oriented design</p></li><li><p>Functional programming</p></li><li><p>Systems Design</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Solid understanding of engineering and infrastructure best practices, general software development principles with a machine learning software development life-cycle orientation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Benefits/Perks </strong></p><p>At Ankorstore we offer a versatile range of benefits to support employees' well-being and work-life balance, fostering personal growth within an innovative and adaptable work environment.</p><ul><li><p>We are a remote-friendly company, and you will have an hybrid contract, based in Paris</p></li><li><p>All of our employees are automatically covered by Health Insurance &amp; Life Insurance.
