$36,728.00 - $44,418.00 commensurate with experience
Normal Work Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
The Administrative Associate coordinates, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and program support activities on behalf of the office and/or office principal. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies, often on complex and confidential issues. Coordinates the provision of office and staff support services to the office, and oversees and/or participates in the coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects and/or events. Has multiple department or unit budget responsibilities with oversight from supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support for the Dean of Students Office.
- Oversees the daily operations of the front office and supervises student workers.
- Provides administrative support for event planning (Welcome Week, Fraternity and Sorority Recruitment, SGA Tailgates, concerts, homecoming, etc.).
- Coordinates Facility Management for Leone Cole Auditorium, TMB Auditorium, McCluer Chapel, TMB Lawn, Dillion Field, the Quad, and other facilities as assigned.
- Assists with processing purchasing requisitions for the Dean of Students Office.
- Assists with campus programming as needed by the Dean of Students Office.
- Maintains records for the Dean of Students Office including but not limited to organization rosters, academic release forms, academic reports, etc.
- Assist with facility setups if needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
