The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing large day programs (census over 40), multiple sites, or specialized roles requiring advanced training. This position ensures smooth daily operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and high-quality service delivery.

• Ability to manage operations, budgets, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as CareLogic and Vertex
• Knowledge of behavioral support strategies and positive intervention techniques
• Flexibility to meet program demands, including extended hours when needed
What You’ll Have
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• At least one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Supervisory or management experience in disabilities/autism or a related field (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Acts 33 & 34 clearances; FBI clearance if applicable
• Completion of ACRE training within 9 months of hire
• Train the Trainer certification (for applicable programs)
A Typical Day May Include
• Supervising and coaching program staff
• Coordinating daily schedules and ensuring staff-to-client ratios
• Overseeing documentation, billing approvals, and compliance audits
• Managing transportation logistics and facility maintenance
• Supporting vocational programming and subcontract work
• Collaborating with families, agencies, and interdisciplinary teams
• Reviewing budgets and safeguarding program funds
• Ensuring staff training and implementation of behavior plans
• Acting as Point Person or Certified Investigator for incident management
