Previous Dietary and/or Food/Restaurant Service Experience Preferred

Hospital Overview

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds. The hospital offers a full-service emergency room with a dedicated observation unit, Critical Care, Oncology and Stroke services.  It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center with an On-site Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Job Summary

Responsible for basic food preparation and service and ensuring that all portions are accurate. Provides all necessary equipment and supplies; maintains sanitation of all service areas and equipment. Follows departmental operating procedures for recipes, menus, quality, and all regulatory guidelines.

Certified Food Service Handler's Card (as required by local Health Department). Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent
