Job Title: Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage

Status: Seasonal Part Time

Shifts: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | 3:00 PM–10:00 PM

Reporting To: Restaurant Manager & Assistant Restaurant Managers


Position Overview:


The Bartender plays a key role in delivering exceptional beverage experiences at Powder Mountain’s exclusive Skylodge private member club. You’ll craft cocktails, provide elevated wine service, and anticipate guest needs — embodying a spirit of Unreasonable Hospitality in every interaction.


This position combines bartending excellence with overall restaurant support to ensure seamless service and a warm, polished atmosphere for our high-end private clientele.


Key Responsibilities:


Hospitality & Guest Experience

  • Deliver warm, authentic, and polished service aligned with Powder Mountain’s values.
  • Anticipate guest needs and create unforgettable experiences rooted in Unreasonable Hospitality.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary and dining team— we succeed together.

Bartending & Service

  • Greet guests warmly and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Craft, garnish, and serve premium cocktails and beverages with precision and flair.
  • Prepare fresh mixers, syrups, and garnishes daily.
  • Assist with event beverage menus and seasonal cocktail concepts.
  • Support all restaurant operations as needed — no task is too small.
  • Maintain complete discretion and professionalism with private clientele.

Bar Operations

  • Set up, break down, and maintain a clean, organized bar daily.
  • Operate POS systems accurately for orders and payments.

Inventory & Compliance

  • Track, rotate, and restock beverage inventory under managerial supervision.
  • Ensure full compliance with Utah DABS (Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services) regulations.
  • Adhere to all alcohol, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Required: Utah Food Handler’s Permit and Utah Sips & Tips Certification
  • 2+ years bartending experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
