Summary

Provides planning and guidance services as project leader in the implementation and enhancement of water contract reporting systems and the management of water data. Provides overall direction in the implementation of water related contracts and agreements possessing complex features to ensure that contractual requirements and objectives are met.

What You'll Do

  • Acts as project leader and/or primary business analyst to the Water Contract Management (WCM) department and other SRP departments for water contract management and implementation.
  • Reviews and provides input to new water resource agreements, specifically in the context of Water Contract Accounting System (WCAS) capabilities and/or requirements.
  • Responsible for gaining expertise of water agreement provisions to effectively translate those provisions into accounting routines and configurations.
  • Responsible for the coordination and development of the annual regulatory filings with ADWR and the Water Operations & Statistics Report.
  • Provides water information and exceptional customer service to water contract customers and other SRP departments.
  • Serves as primary liaison between subject matter experts within WCM and Water Information Technology Services personnel concerning system configuration or enhancement to the Water Contract Accounting System (WCAS), SRP's custom web-based application used for tracking and management of water contracts and agreements.
  • Analyzes/compiles water data, reviews work by others, and prepares written and/or oral presentations/reports/recommendations for management consideration related to contract provisions and accounting system maintenance and configuration.
  • Develops and improves operational processes related to water contract reporting, tracking, reconciling, billing, and auditing in accordance with water contracts and agreements.

Experience

10 years professional experiences in discipline

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution plus an additional 18 graduate level college credits in an area of specialty.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
