About the role

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Senior HR Representative helps coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human resources staff; assist and advise on HR issues and provides support on a range of HR projects, as requested, to contribute to the successful achievements of outcomes on these projects. You will report to the HR Supervisor.

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

Start Rate: $23.35

Primary Tasks:

  • You will enforce company policies with regard to Human Resource administration related issues and provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Prepare human resource documents, record statistics and handle confidential material in the human resources department.
  • Create monthly reports and specially requested reports for several departments.
  • Analyze a variety of data, reports, and statistical summaries.
  • You will work with external entities in providing authorized employment information about such areas as employment verification, income verification, unemployment inquiries, and garnishment requests.
  • Monitor, audit and report on important metrics on an ongoing basis by working within HR systems.
  • Respond to employees with Choctaw Family Medical Leave Act approval notices.
  • Help with administrative work concerning multiple human resource support operations.
  • May handle logistics for training activities including scheduling venues, ensuring equipment availability and prepare the physical setup.
  • Help prepare and facilitate different training programs.
  • May perform portions of the work of higher classified positions occasionally, as assigned.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Required Education and experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Create spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), charts, and word-processing.
  • Able to keep the larger goals in context, take ownership for multiple assignments, prioritize work, deadlines, and delegate
  • Able to handle delicate information and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Prior HR experience.
