Business & Technical Partnership

  • Set clear architectural expectations for development teams and IT vendors, reviewing designs and deliverables for quality and alignment.

Enterprise Standards & Governance

  • Apply and reinforce Medtronic‑defined architecture standards, data models, and reporting patterns across SAP BI implementations.

  • Participate in architecture reviews and governance forums, identifying risks, trade‑offs, and opportunities for simplification and reuse.

  • Support lifecycle management of SAP BI and data platforms, including enhancements, modernization, and decommissioning planning.

Complexity, Innovation & Problem Solving

  • Address moderately to highly complex challenges spanning analytics requirements, data quality, performance, and integration across enterprise systems.

  • Improve existing BI solutions by identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve data reliability, and enhance user experience.

  • Balance innovation with Medtronic’s regulated‑industry requirements, ensuring solutions are well documented, secure, and audit‑ready.

Leadership Without Authority

  • Lead through expertise, influence, and collaboration rather than direct reporting relationships.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior architects, analysts, and technical team members.

  • Contribute to building architectural capability and maturity within Global IT and SAP delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to translate business reporting and analytics needs into scalable SAP data solutions.

  • Working knowledge of data governance, integration patterns, and analytics consumption tools.

  • Experience operating in large, global, and regulated environments with strong quality and compliance expectations.
