The Role:

Hiscox is seeking a hands-on Payables Analyst to join the Claims Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, onboard, and setup of payee and vendor data for claims related transactions

• Updating and adjusting claim vendor details as needed

• Assist with inquires including payment questions, process questions, and vendor / payee general information

• Support in the updating of claim payment status within the claims management systems

• Responsible for assisting and providing relevant data to support payee data

• Support Claims Payable Analyst in payment responsibilities

• Act as a secondary back-up to Claims Payable function

Requirements:

• Solid accounting knowledge

• Background in payables function (onboarding, W-9s, 1099s)

• Strong organizational skills and ability to retain information

• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize

• Must be detail and results-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, self-directed

• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal customers

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

• BS Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred

• 2-4 years in accounting, finance or equivalent business experience

Salary Range: $50-$60k

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.

**Please note that this position is hybrid and requires two (2) days in our office weekly**
