We are looking for a talented Corporate Tax Accountant who thrives in a dynamic setting. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for managing tax compliance and planning for a consolidated group of over 15 companies – including Partnership LLC’s and several subsidiaries that are C-Corporations – giving you exposure to complex structures and meaningful challenges. You will apply and expand your knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Brief Descriptions:

DUTIES, TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to)

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external tax preparers to gather, organize, and provide accurate data for federal, state, and local tax filings—ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist in reviewing Partnership K-1 documents prepared by external tax preparers.
  • Assist in preparing tax provision schedules by analyzing current and consolidated earnings, building a strong foundation in corporate tax accounting.
  • Contribute to innovative tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local tax regulations and sharing insights that help the business stay agile and competitive.
  • Support compliance efforts by monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations, helping the team proactively adapt to new requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with reporting obligations by submitting required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Help streamline tax processes by developing and refining worksheets and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with special projects, including analyzing tax implications of new business initiatives, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
  • Engage in professional development by participating in training, networking, and self-study to enhance tax knowledge and technical skills.
  • Support broader accounting functions as needed, contributing to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment where every contribution makes an impact.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES

  • Foundational understanding of U.S. GAAP (coursework or prior experience preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven workplace.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (Access a plus); familiarity with SQL or Macros is beneficial but not required.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Master’s degree in Taxation.
  • CPA/CPA Candidate.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Three to five years of accounting with a specialization in taxation.
  • PREFERRED: Three years in public accounting from Big Four or equivalent.

 

What’s the expected pay for this role? 

  • $75,000 to $95,000 per year
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
