Position Overview

We are seeking an Analyst to directly support the execution of Apollo’s private credit allocation and pipeline management function across Direct Lending, Hybrid Credit, and High-Grade Capital Solutions. The role will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, deal teams, and cross-functional partners across Legal, Compliance & Tax, Finance, and Operations to support allocation execution, data management, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate, real-time pipeline data across all private credit deals within internal platforms
  • Execute allocation workflows across portfolio and order management systems, including related credit processes and approvals required for fund participation
  • Coordinate allocation sign-off and approval workflows across stakeholders including portfolio managers, trading, deal teams, Legal, Compliance & Tax, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely execution at each stage of the deal lifecycle
  • Monitor and coordinate post-closing trade activity across funds to complete position transfers in a timely manner
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline and automate workflows, synthesize information across deals and funds, and support the development of scalable processes
  • Drive continuous improvement across allocation workflows and processes, flagging inefficiencies and contributing to a more scalable and consistent operating model
  • Support deal-level reporting, pipeline tracking, data reconciliation, and governance review processes across the platform

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in private credit, fund operations, middle office, or business operations at an alternative asset manager, credit fund, bank, or fund administrator
  • Strong interest in private credit and eagerness to develop working knowledge across the firm’s fund mandates and structures, investment guidelines, liquidity profiles, and risk tolerance; experience with '40 Act regulated funds a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI (e.g., Claude) to independently build tools, trackers, and automations – translating business needs into scalable working solutions without engineering support
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Process-oriented by nature; naturally builds structure, trackers, and documentation without prompting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating with counterparties at all levels
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; capable of managing high volumes of activity without error
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with portfolio or order management systems a plus
  • Self-starter with a positive, ownership-driven mindset; takes initiative, executes with minimal direction, and brings energy and ownership to their work
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic record; Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field preferred
