Job Summary
The Consultant plays a critical role in advancing systemwide strategic initiatives at Mass General Brigham by executing defined project workstreams under the direction of project leadership. Consultants are expected to deliver high-quality, data-driven analyses and materials that support enterprise decision-making. This role is ideal for an early-career strategy professional seeking exposure to a broad range of healthcare and operational challenges.Key Responsibilities:
• Own discrete project workstreams, including planning, executing, and delivering on defined analyses and deliverables
• Conduct high-quality analysis to drive strategic decisions, including use of both quantitative and qualitative methods
• Contribute to strategic thinking and problem solving through hypothesis generation, issue structuring, and insight synthesis
• Create compelling, executive-ready presentation materials using effective storyline development and communication design
• Collaborate with internal clients and cross-functional stakeholders to inform workstream delivery
• Participate in internal project team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and prioritization discussions
• Support stakeholder interviews, meeting preparation, and coordination as needed
• Contribute to team knowledge management, templates, and leading practices
Qualifications
Core Competencies:

- Basic project management (individual workplan development, tracking progress)
- Intellectual curiosity and self-direction

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, or related field required; Master’s degree a plus but not required
- 2–3 years of experience in consulting, healthcare strategy, or a related analytical role or equivalent
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and other analytics or visualization tools preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare datasets and sources such as claims/billing data, SG2, and public health datasets a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
