Job Summary:The Government Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:-        None. 
Duties/Responsibilities:-        Receive trucks and unload merchandise.-        Package merchandise for shipment.-        Load trucks with merchandise for shipment.-        Record amounts of materials or items received in receiving log. -        Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.-        Follow all necessary safety codes.-        Maintain warehouse machinery.-        Perform other duties as assigned. 
Required Skills/Abilities: -        Excellent verbal communication skills.   

-        Excellent organizational skills 

-        Capacity to take direction.

Education and Experience:-        High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements: -        Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.  Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
