Job Summary

The Senior Business Systems Analyst position will be responsible for working with the business team to gather and document business requirements for Distribution’s Outage Management (ARM and Work/Crew Manager) projects. Additionally, this person will be required to plan and execute system testing as well as support business partners in the execution of user acceptance testing.  

 

The position will also be required to support the ARM second level help desk and communication processes on a rotating basis. Strong meeting facilitation, communication and negotiation skills are required. The candidate should also have a strong working knowledge of Electric Utility Operations and associated restoration processes; both in regular and in-Storm conditions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

5+ years directly related IT experience with 10+ years power delivery experience.

• IT skills in working with Electric Asset & Resource Management (ARM) and Work/Crew Manager systems.  
• Experience and understanding of Electric Utility Distribution systems and Outage Management Processes
• Experience and understanding of Dominion Energy’s Customer CORE application.
• Demonstrated competency in verbal and written communications and interpersonal understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to research and understand customer issues.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the Information Technology team's knowledge of and concern for the customer's business needs.
