WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Regional Strategic Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Warehousing Strategy for North Latam plus Ecuador, Perú and Bolivia, and be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Warehouse processes for Latam. These operations are highly complex in nature and requires a close collaboration with key stakeholders across the local business, our 3PLs and our Global Logistic team.
• Analyze the logistics network (network design) of the countries and propose suggestions for cost optimization.
• Conduct capacity analysis of each Distribution Center and, in case of excessive occupancy, propose alternatives, such as expanding the DC, verticalizing, changing the layout, changing the DC, in view of the location and logistics cost (from rental costs to the last mile).
• Analyze and propose improvements in freight costs
• Search for disruptive solutions that bring cost reductions in the medium and long term
• For each alternative you propose, be responsible for the financial viability analysis of the same (Business Case)
• Conduct productivity analysis and operational improvements with implemented tools such as C2S (Cost to serve)
• Control and monitor the Logistics Capex for the country.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering, business administration or logistics.
• Advanced level of English.
• 7 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, operations, customer experience or logistics projects.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics transport.
• Good analytical and financial skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
• Strategic and disruptive thinking
• Ability to look at the medium and long term
• Knowledge of digital solutions, robotics and automation for WH.
• Knowledge of transport modal options, both primary and secondary.
• Knowledge of digital solutions to reduce freight costs.
• Experience with E-commerce logistics and digital projects (desirable)
