Responsibilities
Skyepoint Decisions is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.
This position is located in Arlington, VA.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions to support customer service, data collection, and GRC processes.
- Integrate and manage disparate data stores, ensuring global users have seamless access to reporting and the ability to manage cybersecurity findings.
- Work on migration strategies for various systems and data stores, creating dashboards that enable users to assess and take action on cyber-related issues.
- Collaborate with software development teams to evaluate and implement the best migration paths and integration methodologies for both new and existing platforms.
- Ensure solutions align with the security, compliance, and performance requirements of the Department.
- Develop and customize workflows and ServiceNow modules to meet business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in ServiceNow best practices, guiding the team through complex problem-solving and system enhancements.
- Participate in Agile development sprints, contributing to planning, execution, and delivery of ServiceNow-based projects.
- Deliver clear and concise technical briefings and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer understanding of project progress, findings, and solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience is required. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, ideally with a focus on ServiceNow.
- Possess or obtain ONE of the following certifications within 6 months of start date :
- CASP+ CE, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, CEH, CFR, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, SCYBER, VCA DCV, PPDA, Agile IC, SNOW App Dev
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, including development, configuration, and administration.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with other systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and integration with ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow tools such as:
- ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM)
- ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- ServiceNow IT Business Management (ITBM)
- ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)
- ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies as well as requirements review and decomposition
- Continuous learning mindset with evidence of ongoing professional development in ServiceNow technologies
- U.S. citizenship required.
- An active Secret security clearance.
- The ability to obtain final Top-Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in government environments
- Proven experience in IT Service Management (ITLSM) and architecture
- Ability to design and implement scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions.
