The Opportunity
DAT is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Outbound Sales to join the Sales Team in Beaverton, Oregon.
The BDR is responsible for contacting potential customers through cold calling to the active Broker industry and updating company and contact information that result in increased revenue by introducing DAT Solutions product and service information to prospective
What You’ll Do
- Data entry focused on Lead creation in Salesforce
- Focuses on making a high volume of calls to prospects
- Cold calls prospects and introduces the company and its products/services Obtains additional information to proceed further if appropriate
- Updates company and contact information in Salesforce
- Recognizes high interest prospects and makes timely and effective transfers to Sales Representative
- Tracks and reports out on weekly and monthly basis for both phone and web leads to ensure all leads have been followed up on appropriately
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
- Requires a minimum of 0 - 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
