HealthyU Clinics is seeking full-time Medical Assistants for our Orthopedic Surgery Network Affiliate!

Responsibilities: 

Provide front and back office medical assistant support including but not limited to patient care, filing, scheduling, registration, insurance verifications, and patient referrals. 

• Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including filing and pulling charts 
• Greets patients and visitors 
• Initiates a triage for response by medical personnel 
• Registers, verifies and updates patient records 
• Provides exceptional customer service, responds promptly and appropriately to customer needs 
• Maintaining office and medical supplies 
• Handles physician requests in a timely manner 
• Prepares and sanitizes rooms 

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of internet software, and Microsoft processing software 
• Detail oriented and organized 
• Flexible and reliable 
• Professional attitude, patience and kindness in all interactions 

Required Qualifications: 

• Medical assistant certification 
• BLS
