Description
Description: The Wilf Family Department of Politics seeks qualified candidates for a post-doctoral position. The position is to run for two years from July 1, 2025 pending budgetary and administrative approval. This opportunity provides a transition to career independence through the development of professional skills and publication of research findings/scholarship during postdoc appointment period.
Job Summary: Conduct research and perform experiments; analyze data; prepare and present reports of the results of your research and experiments; assist and supervise the work of other lab members.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $62,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Qualifications
Years of experience: 0-5; post-PhD trainee preparing for Research Scientist career path. Applicants must possess a doctorate degree in social science or a related field prior to the beginning of the position.
