What we want

The Senior Business Administrator I provides professional accounting and managerial expertise, oversees business operations for assigned departments, offices, divisions or agencies which include hiring employees, negotiating contracts, addressing budget matters, understanding general business operations, and guiding work teams.

Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Eight years of related experience in general office, accounting, or personnel operations, including related supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of TAMUS/TAMU Policies, Regulations and SAP’s.

  • Working knowledge of word processing programs, spreadsheets, database programs, Adobe, Aggie Buy, Canopy, CONCUR, FAMIS, Flywire and iPayments

  • Simulation, healthcare and/or academic environment familiarity

  • Experience in multiple site office locations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Planning and organizational skills.
