About the role

RII develops cutting-edge software for the government and military. We use agile development practices and user-centered design to create innovative software solutions for complex real-world problems.  We're breaking through the big, slow status quo with transformative technology that fundamentally changes and improves the world.We are looking for a committed DevOps Engineer to work on our Dev and Deployment Tech team. You will solve uniquely challenging problems for our Defense and Homeland Security customers. Help manage large volumes of critical, real-time information about issues from global to local. Get s#it done.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US security clearance. A current active clearance is not needed to apply.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Evolving and sustaining the CI/CD Infrastructure at RII such as Artifactory and Jenkins
  • Working with development teams to build CI/CD pipelines and shared libraries
  • Working with teams to install CI/CD principles in their development workflows
  • Working to further integrate security into our DevSecOps processes
  • Keeping up with trends in DevSecOps and SRE

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

  • BS in Computer Science, equivalent degree, or previous work experience
  • 7+ years experience in DevOps along with 5+ years with Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu) system administration supporting both development and/or production environments
  • Experience with scripting languages, in particular python experience
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Artifactory

EVEN BETTTER

  • Experience with software component analysis and tools such as JFrog XRay
  • Experience with static code analysis tools such as Fortify or SonarQube
  • Experience with integrating security tools into a CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience working build tools such as Maven, Poetry, Nx, and NPM.
