The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients to ensure accuracy of Medical Coding for claims processing and service delivery. Communication Skills - Ability to present findings in a group setting as well as the ability to effectively communicate in writing. Ability to work effectively in a team/group setting as well as self-motivation to complete tasks at the individual level. Proactively identifies and manages changes to requirements and identify risks for the company’s clients. Effectively manages client expectations. Here are the details on this position.
Your role in our mission
- Research, identify, and specify solutions to problems.
- Support and conduct visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design.
- Document requirements using certification processes and tools.
- Support contractual obligation requirements and change management processes.
- Consider the impact of decisions made within the applications environment to the business operations.
- Ability to analyze efficiencies and provide process improvement recommendations for the operational areas.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What we're looking for
- 1+year medical coding experience.
- Working knowledge of physician reimbursement, medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding
- Understanding of both facility and professional terminology.
- Working knowledge of and experience with Encoder Pro/Super coder
- Basic functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Effective verbal/ written communication
Required Education/Certifications
- Current License/Certification in Medical Coding – Must provide proof of certification.
- Must possess a current AAPC card or equivalent.
What you should expect in this role
- Fully remote options for West Virginia residents only
- Occasional onsite may be required
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $49,400.00 - $70,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
