Job Description

As a Nuclear Blast Project Manager, you are primarily responsible for planning, organizing, and managing an assigned release from the conceptual stages through the campaign life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.  For Nuclear Blast, this pertains to record launches, tours, product offerings, special engagements, and other related aspects of the campaign.

Job Responsibilities

•   Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging projects or releases.

•   Manages day-to-day progress of project.

•   Provides technical expertise to other departments in support of product and campaign development. In this case, providing New Media Publicity and Production info about the current and upcoming projects.

•   Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions to ensure the project on hand reaches success. 

•   Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for any given artist and campaign.

•   Coordinates with the other departments regarding marketing, sales, and financial plans for the project as a whole.

•   Prepares project development objectives and schedules for all phases of campaign and introduction to market. In this case, it is important to know that a record cycle may last up to three years.

•   Conducts market research and identifies and tracks market trends in company's industry.

•   Identifies partnering opportunities for complementary third-party products to broaden company's product line. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 2 – 4+ years related or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive.
• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.  
• Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and/or percentages.  
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
