Because in our mission to be the contract intelligence platform of the world, we believe how we get there is as important as the destination<br/>Position Summary:<br/>The Senior Functional Consultant (SFC) is the cornerstone of our consulting team, serving as the primary liaison for our customers across various European countries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Spain. <br/>In this role, you'll drive functional discussions, ensuring the team thoroughly understands business requirements to design effective Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) solutions.<br/>Your key responsibilities include analysing and resolving system and interface issues, optimizing contract creation and usage for our customers. <br/>You will collaborate daily with both functional and technical colleagues based in India and across Europe, ensuring smooth progress of software implementation projects.<br/>A deep understanding of business dynamics and the ICI software is essential. <br/>You'll engage with customers to ensure their requirements reflect true business needs rather than predefined software expectations. <br/>This approach allows you to collaboratively define the software architecture based on actual business requirements.<br/>Although this role is primarily remote, occasional travel to meet customers and team members is required, averaging one three-day trip per month within Europe, with variations depending on customer needs.<br/>This position can be based anywhere in Germany, with the option to work from our offices in Frankfurt or Munich if you're located in these areas.<br/> <h3>What you will do:</h3> <ul> <li>SpearheadSystem Configuration and Deployment: Spearhead configuration and deployment efforts across various projects, ensuring seamless execution and integration.</li><li>Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their business needs, translating them into powerful, effective technical solutions.</li><li>Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations, ensuring each project is completed successfully and on time.</li><li>Strategic Consulting: Offer expert advice and best practices to clients, enhancing their contract management processes.</li><li>Training and Mentorship: Empower client teams through the train-the-trainer approach and mentor junior consultants on the capabilities of the Icertis platform.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with technical, sales, and support teams to deliver outstanding client experiences.</li><li>Project Support: Assist the program manager in developing and maintaining project plans and financials.</li><li>Internal Consulting Development: Contribute to building a robust internal consulting capability within the Professional Services group.</li><li>Solution Conceptualization: Partner with business stakeholders to develop solutions that address key implementation goals within scope, schedule, and effort constraints.</li><li>Business Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of business use cases and conceptual flows, ensuring alignment with client needs.</li><br/></ul> <h3>What you bring:</h3> <ul> <li>Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and German, enabling seamless communication with diverse clients.</li><li>Organized and Detail-Oriented: Demonstrate a structured approach to work with excellent documentation skills, ensuring clarity and precision in all tasks.</li><li>Business Insight: Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs, translating them into effective software implementation projects.</li><li>Relevant Experience: Prior experience in implementing Contract Management or Supply Chain applications is highly advantageous.</li><li>Comprehensive Implementation Experience: Proven track record in full life cycle enterprise application implementations, showcasing your ability to manage projects from start to finish.</li><li>Innovative Problem-Solving: Quick thinker with a knack for interpreting trends and patterns from dat
