Customer Relations & Quality Assurance
- Serve as the primary on-site customer contact, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Clearly explain the restoration process, inspection findings, and documentation to customers.
- Conduct quality control inspections; take corrective measures as necessary.
- Perform walk-throughs and obtain customer signatures on Certificates of Satisfaction.
- Ensure a positive customer experience and promote overall satisfaction.
Project Management & Job Execution
- Coordinate and perform production processes per work orders and schedules.
- Lead job site activities, including staging, demolition, extraction, drying, and cleaning.
- Perform initial inspections, determine scope of work, drying goals, and assess salvageability.
- Monitor drying conditions, adjust equipment, and document progress.
- Use equipment efficiently and ensure proper handling and protection of jobsite materials.
- Make decisions in the field to adjust project execution based on changing conditions.
- Communicate clear expectations to production technicians and supervise daily activities.
- Direct crew setup, cleanup, and task delegation for each phase of work.
- Coach and train technicians on proper mitigation and remediation techniques.
- Identify skill gaps and provide feedback to management for technician development.
- Identify jobsite hazards and implement safety controls for both occupants and workers.
- Ensure crew adherence to SERVPRO safety policies and applicable OSHA standards.
- Enforce use of proper PPE and safety procedures throughout the job cycle.
- Accurately document the scope of work, measurements, photos, and job diaries.
- Monitor and log drying progress using industry-standard tools and methods.
- Maintain detailed and compliant job files to support service delivery and billing.
- Manage labor and consumable usage efficiently to control project costs.
- Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
- Perform assigned vehicle and equipment maintenance on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
- Oversee facility and grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
Other Duties
- Continue developing expertise in restoration procedures, tools, products, and standards.
- Communicate effectively with managers and office staff regarding project status and concerns.
- Perform other related tasks or duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in restoration, cleaning, or construction required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- IICRC certification(s) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Regularly lift 50 pounds independently; occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Stand, walk, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
- Perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
- Tolerate exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, fumes, and varying environmental conditions.
- Wear a respirator when required.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with frequent overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Local travel required; occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary.
