Minimum $22.51
Maximum PAY GRADE: AU3
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Child Nutrition Truck Driver is responsible for the distribution of commodities and supplies to all Food Service Kitchens.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED preferred
Must have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License and be insurable
Good driving record
Random Drug Testing
Lift 30 pounds continuously and occasionally up to 75 pounds
Capable of working well with others

Continual standing, walking, pushing, and pulling: frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing (ladder), moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; moderate exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Distribution of commodities and supplies to all Child Nutrition kitchens.
- Quality checks on all the outgoing inventory and supplies before distribution.
- Quality checks of the maintenance of Child Nutrition vans and ensure they are neat, clean and sanitary.
- Works in warehouse and maintains a clean, neat and sanitary environment.
- Preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment during summers.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
